Here’s some good advice… If you want a party, invite some Ukrainians. Uliana is part of a local dance troupe here in Calgary and thus is part of the community and it seems all of Ukrainian Calgary came to the wedding and made my jaw drop with their dancing ability. I stood for a good 20 to 30 minutes with my jaw on the floor as their dancing vignettes became more and more elaborate. I got truly scared when the guys formed a three tiered (standing on shoulders) rotating circle. It was a great end to a day that was full of laughter. One of Uliana’s bridesmaids was pretty much my best friend as she would burst out into the biggest smile with the most amount of laughter every time I directed anyone’s attention to her. Cue my own happy dance. I love when that happens. I absolutely adored photographing the quiet elegance and class that both Uliana and Matthew exude. They are meant for each other, a true match.
