A trip to the mountains is so refreshing, especially when you leave behind bad weather in Calgary. I was pleasantly surprised to arrive at Vermillion Lakes outside Banff to gorgeous mist rising and giving way to sunshine. Lisa and Brad had traveled all the way from Edmonton and so a reschedule just wasn’t an option. I had my rain gear, umbrellas and that was that, rain or shine, we would shoot. But I feel so lucky to have captured the dramatic clouds and vistas of the Bow Valley that day. Lisa and Brad were up for anything and even got advice from a Belgian tourist, he himself married for 40 years. It was a stunning day spent with an incredible couple!
