The relationship between a wedding photographer and her clients is a special one. It really has to have an aspect of chemistry to it, just like every other type of relationship. I met Lauren and Joe in their home on a cool fall evening and lucky for me, it seemed like it was ‘love at first sight’. But it’s not a one-sided feeling, it’s got to be on both sides for the magic to really happen. Lauren knows what she wants immediately so I was thrilled when after an hour and a half of just chatting, she looked at me and said “we love you. We’re booking you.” My semblance of a response was something of a squeal, a huge smile and an “I love you guys too!” We had one of those stunningly beautiful fall days and my job was made easy by their obvious love for one another. What fun, I cannot wait for your wedding! And I think I love you guys even more 🙂
