I’m sitting in my office right now and looking out the window and snow is falling gently. Hello winter. Holly and Ryan definitely got married in the Fall and it’s nice to sit here and look at the beautiful fall colours but I am also excited about what the winter has in store for me. I think what I love most about my couples is that they are willing to do pretty much anything to get great photos. Holly and Ryan and their AMAZING bridal party persevered through some pretty cold weather. I was going to use ‘suffered’, but we all did it with smiles and really, I would wager to say it was worth it. I loved Holly and Ryan’s resolve and they were so wonderful to work and laugh with. Silvertip, just outside Canmore, hosted both the ceremony and reception and as always, was such a treat to shoot at. The gazebo area never disappoints and the Pavilion is always breathtaking. A big thanks to Stephanie Couture for being my awesome co-ninja for the day and of course for filling a bag of candy for me from the stellar candy bar. I have to say, I wonder if a great candy bar equals a packed dance floor because you have to check out the craziness that ensued once the music was blaring and the lights went down. I can’t wait to hear the stories of the night from Holly and Ryan. Enjoy this little look into a really, really wonderful day.
