It was a typical Calgary day. And by typical I mean that we were being chased and encircled by rain and stormy skies. And in that glorious Calgary fashion, the weather systems kept circling and moving away and we were truly jumping with joy that the ceremony was never effected. The great part of having your wedding at a golf course is that they track the weather even better than I do and have fancy equipment that makes things super accurate. I really liked the mix of urban and rural for Michelle and Bill’s big day. I was delighted when they told me of their plans for doing some of the creatives downtown and even happier when their faces lit up with my offerings. I was lucky enough to have the ever-amazing Joelene Mills second shooting with me and Michelle and Bill remarked at our squeals of delight. It really was THAT much fun. And the happiness and laughter continued throughout the day especially with the wonderful ceremony curated by Abby Charchun and the incredible speeches by their friends and family. Not sure if I’ll ever forget Downtown Bill and his neon khakis. To top off a great day, we pulled off a hilarious photo booth, every wedding should have one!!
