Nakoda Lodge is exactly the type of place that makes for an intimate, picturesque, family centered wedding. And that is exactly what Lisa and Graham got on their gorgeous day in August. The setting of the mountains, almost cocoon like serves not only fantastic views but also a closeness that is perfect for that intimacy. I adore how everything is done at the Lodge, and I also think Lisa loved looking down from her room as her guests gathered for the ceremony. It was a truly lovely day in the mountains and the sun shone on them and provided us with a glorious sunset. My favourite part of their ceremony site, besides the wooden arch, was the effort that Lisa and graham went to in making the wood discs with the various phrases on them. My favourite part of the entire wedding was knowing now, that it would be the last time I get to shoot at Nakoda. I am sad to say that it has been sold and all future weddings were cancelled. Here’s to love and laugher and L + G= forever. Enjoy! x
